could be his phone camera. Maybe he is using warm lighting in his room, and so the camera compensates and makes screens blue-er. happens to me too.

Yep, basically this. Took the image last night with overhead light which is relatively warm. Appears fine in person for the type of monitor (VA panel).

A Sabrent sata-to-usb for use with 2.5" ssd's. Although it doesn't seem to work with hdd's but I still have the (bulky) docking station for that.

Because 3.5" HDD's needs more power than a 2.5" SSD, a 2.5" HDD will work, I have tried that.

I got this cable once included with a samsung SSD.

Sorry for the late reply - @GreiverBlade is correct, Redragon's version of a MX or Kailh Red.

I'm still waiting on the rest of the parts I need to give this a try, but from just blind typing without being connected to anything, it's a nice solid feel. I'm a little concerned about the low touch needed to activate (according to RD's description) as I had a keyboard with the Kailh Speed Silvers that I was horribly inaccurate with - I must have gorilla fingers.

As an owner of a Razer with optical reds, mate, how my typing accuracy got bogus (not to mention the involuntary presses due to a finger resting on a key - not nice when driving a car in a game or something along these lines). It makes me miss the Romer-G's on the G810 I had VERY MUCH, but those got a whole another set of issues.

More odds & bobs from Aliexpress. I paid a lot less than what is showing on these, they were a lot less when I purchased them.

I got the thermal pads for some old GPUs that could probably use them, extension cables, because I needed a couple to go with the Mac Pro 5,1 I am bringing back to life, and the radiator to get me to 10 items & free shipping. (There were some non-tech things for family as well.)

yes, true. back in 2016 i bought a really cheap like 500 rupees wired earphones from them and they were excellent in both sound and build quality. Though, one of it's bud stop working after few years as i used drop them alot, now i haven't them in a long time, probably got lost somewhere.

"Welcome to the jungle" indeed (and Showa idol's groove is a "coup de coeur" due to anime theme song in the 80s-90s good luck reading the title on that one aside 5 of them i can handle spoken and Romaji Japanese but Kanji/Katakana/Hiragana not so much, at least not without google translate photo mode ) 3 of them have lyrics booklet (Queen, Guns'n Roses and Showa idol's Groove)

Gun's n roses and Queen i had the original but f.u.b.a.r. so much that no crayons i meant pencils could save them

3018 desktop CNC...liniear rails, 500W, ER11 spindle, integrated drivers for the stepper motors, jockey wheels, 10W laser head....etc...

-.....but, BUTT "your first desktop CNC is not Genmitsu?!?" - No, it's not. They are really cool, and I mean it, but I made a different choice. I picked LYUNEE ULTRA.
- ....but, BUTT (OK I'll stop now )....it's not Nomad or Othermill pro nor Carvera...noupe aaand I didn't pay $2800-$6000.....I paid $551 (shipping/VAT included)
- and no, I have no prior experience with CNC, never, not a single cut....call it leap of faith if you will.
- Software choices: CAD-> Freecad, CAM->Don't have one yet, possibly CAMBAM, G-code-> UGS (universal G-code sender); Laser-> LightBurn (G-code license is $60 or so)



I also got a spindle brush, air pump for the laser and a spoilboard, but the last one doesn't fit, so......I guess I will have to make my own.

En route is a drag chain and I need a collet set and some bits.

A little update on this update..
Well it seems the mobo has had a hard life despite being brand new it came with a broken DIMM slot not just he clip broken but the entire end of the slot was ripped off and there are bent pins in the socket aswell and it wasn't until I was ready to put the ram in that I discovered this damage (easy enough to miss it being black on a black mobo)

sorry didn't think to take some more pics before returning the mobo but as you can see from the above pic it wasn't good so now I have to wait for Tuesday to get ahold of PBTech to find out what going to happen but I swear if they try to make out this is my fault I'm seriously going to beat someone close to meeting their maker

So after PBTech trying to blame the damage on me and sending it back to Asus for repair I was quite pissed off about it so I got hold of Asus a talked to them about it they then contacted PBTech who after faffing around told the truth that the mobo they sent me originally was a shop demo and was damaged in store and shouldn't have been sent out Asus then told them to warranty replace it so I picked it up on Tuesday and spent a few hour putting it together very carefully making sure I didn't damage anything on it at all

So it's now out with the old

And in with the new

She's running really nice

It'll probably choke in aluminium though....
