Like @ty_ger said. Think of it like selling baseball cards. You could have a million dollar card if someone willing to pay you a million for it.

Best tactics is to buy local business .net, .com and go around offering them for sale at a small markup. Otherwise you will be waiting a looong time.

I think both of you guys are on the same page. The owner of the domain name has to do a little leg work to sale the domain quicker. I think the OP is asking if there is a one stop shop to sale the domain, but if they are then those places are not paying top dollar for the domain. If anything they are low balling to make money for themselves which makes since as a business.
