Where should I install Steam!

Hi,
Sorry but you have to be doing something really wrong to "want to or have to" reinstall windows at a whim

Frankly I system image so it's not necessary "if" serious issues arrive so all I have to do is restore an image boom done.
Most people should image on what ever schedule they want or need to
Personally I do it weekly or monthly it really depends on changes I make.
What do you use to image?

Hi,
Macrium reflect and it's created winpe usb recovery media it prompts you to create after first use.
I haven't used the actual app in the active os in years.
After that all you need is a good size hdd and create a folder name/ date and point reflect to it in create or recovery mode.

On topic I just put the game downloads on another hdd/ ssd not steam/...

Hello,

I have a separate drive for games. Should I install Steam there or the main drive?
I put it on a secondary drive - NVMe. This way if I need to swap it out for a higher capacity drive I can just copy the entire drive.

I have Steam on C and I have 7 drives for games. Yet as I have a 1TB OS drive, I can put games there as well.
