I play all some of PC games with Xbox One S gamepad, though I like the Dualshock4 when I play on PS4.

But yeah, that Xbox pad is my favourite.

A mechanical keyboard and a wireless mouse. Controllers are fine for a few select titles, like Mortal Kombat or Tekken, but I can't stand them otherwise.

Damn... you know what I mean ;)

I hella do love most my keyboard and mouse what it comes to PC FPS gaming, but... yeah. :D

Xbox controller elite v.1 but only when keyboard and mouse do not work for the game.
Ex. God of war and Hogwarts Legacy. I found it to be easier using the controller.
I have to note though that I’ve never tried a PS controller (since PS2 era).

I have an Elite V2 I use when I need one. This is coming from someone who only ever owned PS’s. I’ve had both Elites.

Both a Playstation Dualsense and Elite V2 depending on what I am playing.

Favorite controller ever hard to say I've liked a lot probably the coolest was the og dualshock.... I did like the N64 pad with rumble pack in Goldeneye though as well.

OG Xbox "Duke"... optimal size ... (i'm kinda bear pawed)

well ... atm Xbox Elite Series 2, i quite like it, the extended battery over the previous Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra, almost make up for loosing Hall effect sticks and microswitches
a bit small but not by much

imho, asymmetric is ergonomic (Xbox layout), symmetrical is a pure pain (PS layout) i just can't :D

also Fightbox leverless for some game

Would be nice to try the OG Xbox pad now as an adult, OFC I said that it's too big when I was 12yo.

I know what you mean, but it is what it is with me, unfortunately. :ohwell: Controllers and I don't go well together. Looking around with an analogue stick is pure pain compared to a mouse. I do have an Xbox-style MSi controller for games where you don't have to look around, and a Logitech G27 racing wheel and shifter, but I very rarely use them.

Do u play any console ports or any games which are best with a controller?

Hah, wheels are a total different division, I have a Driving Force GT... hell, it works even in W11!

I just recently finished Nier Automata. The friend I got it from said it's best played with a controller, so I did that. I briefly tried playing it with keyboard and mouse too, which was also fine.

In my opinion, the games that are "best played with a controller" feel mostly good with keyboard and mouse too, but games that are built for the keyboard and mouse (e.g. FPS, TPS and strategy) are rubbish with a controller.

I had a logitech pad for driving/flying/action games that would be clunky with a mouse and keyboard. My Ideal Pad is on the Sega Dreamcast as it's the 1 that fits my hands properly besides the 1st XB controller or the Model S, however the dpad on the xb controllers were extremely lacking in 8 direction use unlike the DC controller.

I miss the MS Sidewinder Line, very good units they were

Mech keyboard + mouse for most everything.
Gamepads of classic layout for football simulators. Wondering if anyone makes big size gamepads because it's devastatingly inconvenient to use these tiny things.

Answering the question literally: DualSense.

When it doesn't have stick drift...

Let's put it this way, I suck bad with any controller. I just bought my grandkids an Xbox X with an extra controller along with a bunch of games. I called myself playing a team game (cod maybe) with my grandson for about 5 minutes... until I had to call it. I was absolutely useless. After more than 20 years of not touching one, big surprise. He was better off playing on his own. But anyhow, I thought the stock controller was pretty sweet :D

And yes, my 10yo grandson has turned into an overnight gaming junkie. If it were up to him, he would play 24/7/365.

What have I done?

I use keyboard and mouse for every game except for racing
Racing games I use a series X controller for that

Whew !

Can I judge you all ?

PLAYING ON PC WITH A CONTROLLER ? WHAT DA FACK ?

I use a PowerA Xbox Series X|S controller it seems, added some cheap silicon caps for the joysticks and I think nobody should buy Sony/Microsoft dumb useless fragile stuff when some cheap stronger things exist :D

I'm happy you quoted for real xD I didn't even know it was a Series X|S as it's seems like the previous stuff (I got one from Microsoft, the One, the dumb bugged one for sure). I edited about my controller so it seems strange :p

I was kidding for sure it's cool to play a lot of games with a gamepad :p add a hdmi and plug your computer on the huge TV, play on the sofa or the bed ;)

Heey, I didn't take your post that serious! ;)

Actually to be exact, my controller is the white one which is bundled with an OneS, are the newer ones better?

Gamepad for me is PS3 sixaxis controller, I'm so used to play PS1 and PS2 games so this controller comes in naturally for me, mainly I use to play emulator on PC. I rarely use gamepad to play PC games, except Ace Combat 7.

Gotta give props to Dualshock3, they have a hella long battery charge

I can't tell you, I had an S long time ago, the joysticks were having visual degradation, I returned it even if it was working, the old One is having a bit more of deadzone from both of the joysticks every years so I bought the third party controller and I really like it.

I like the Dualsense alot but on PC is use Xbox controller mainly since I got the USB dongle and there is no Sony controller dongle available (what an oversight)

My Dualshock4 had problems, I replaced its stick sensors from a donor XboxS pad and works like new. :)

My friend hates that I call it Dualshock5. :D
