Hello, sorry for the long post. I am extremely noob with pc's. Anyway, I would like to add optical and digital audio rca out to my pc so I can connect it to my reciever.

Came across these two panels online, and could not google what the difference is between the two. Is one better than the other?

I have a gaterway foxconn (bengal) rs780 motherboard. Here is a pic of the spdif out on the mobo. I have taken off the side panel and can see it clearly.

Just make sure to check that you order the correct bracket with the 4-pin connector pinout for the MB you have.

Pin 1 = +5V
Pin 2 = N/C
Pin 3 = S/PDIF
Pin 4 = GND

I ended up ordereing both, and got them today, installed the gigabyte one. Works great, dts, dolby digital and pcm all work and sounds good.
