ok my cpu temp always shows up at around 38c idle in my bios and intel tat (cpu@3.0ghz), today i decided to reapply as5 as i think thats a bit high considering my cooling, i cleaned off the old as5 and my hsf and applied as5 to the cpu and proceeded to spread it with part of a plastic bag to smooth it over properly, refixed hsf and reboot into the bios to read 21c  booted into windows and ran intel tat only for it to still read 38c :banghead: although my bios and speedfan show 21c, should i try somthing else? which is right? i would have thought the reading in my bios would have been more right as it always showed up as 38c until i reapplied so why would it suddenly change ?
