Four months ago I bought two Forsa GTX 1070 Fury OC cards. four days ago one of them quit working. It was tough to locate where to send them for warranty work but once I found "https://www.facebook.com/forsathailand/" they said to send it in.

So I send the card in and today I got feedback from them through facebook that they found the problem with my card and they sent pictures. They followed that up with "we cannot warranty your card cause the circuit board was burned by component failure. Burning is not covered by our warranty"

$600.00 card 4 months old and their 3 year warranty is worthless.

I will never buy another Forsa product and neither should you.

Out of so many, you will have cards that quit within days or seconds of starting, some 10+ years etc.

Just rma the card for another.

Did you read what OP wrote? They refused the warranty after rma.

OP, post their response on their Facebook page and make it a big deal. To suppress negative publicity they might replace your card.

I think they mean your power supply must have surged and that surge caused the card to fry. I see two areas on the PCB (near power connectors at VRM section and front near display outputs). In fairness, if a power surge fried your card, they don't have to warranty it. Are any other components in your PC damaged?

As suggested, use Facebook to highlight your problem but make sure your PC and your domestic power supply are not at fault or liable to further surges.
 
FORSA? I never heard of that name? Looks like the memory chips over heated, the one to the right looks like the solder was melting causing the liquid from the solder the spread. Definitely looks like a over heating issue.

Well, that's what you get for buying no-name cards.
Tried to save a few bucks, and got no warranty.

If I were you, I'd start with a retailer that sold you those cards, and only then move on to the manufacturer.
If both of them refuse warranty replacement, then (as already suggested), leave an extensive shit-feedback on their facebook page and other social media and maybe you'll get lucky and attract attention of people with similar problems w/ cards or SSDs from FORSA. For a company with claimed $80m yearly earnings, every customer counts, so they'll either be forced to make it right, or they will continue milking the no-RMA cow until they go out of business.

You may not get a new GTX1070, but at least you'll be able to get some sort of revenge :fear:

Literally never heard of them. Also, their service seems to be run by idiots. "Um oh, our crappy components had catastrophic failure which engulfed the card in fire, but because fire is not covered by warranty, tough luck pal." WHAAAAT?! Is this a really bad joke? They designed it badly which is why it caught fire and now they use this as an excuse not to cover the warranty?
 
Post that on their Facebook page and on other social media. Their card defected and they won't honor the warranty. Hurt their rep.
 
I'm confused... GTX 1070 says nVidia ... Fury says AMD. That sounds like copyright infringement. Paid witha credit card ? File a claim. If it's Amex, you will get ya money back. Just got $400 back for a Thrustmaster Warthog that went south.... 10 months after warranty expired./.. (Amex adds 1 year warranty coverage to all charges made on the card). And after vendor refused to offer a cash credit for a $5k commercial refigerator that arrived with a '"cracked tub", Amex rescinded payment and they delivered a new one.
 
I would post your experience on their Facebook page publicly (if you haven't already). It will gain a lot more attention from perspective buyers or current owners seeing as how that seems to be their only outlet for contact.

For what it's worth though, (not that it makes it any better), but most companies will reject any damage of the physical nature. But generally discretion is used along with common sense. atleast you could remove and sell the shroud, and fans + heatsink, im sure there are folks in the market for replacements.

They admitted liability right there, it was caused by burning by COMPONENT FAILURE, do you have any kind of trading standards agency in your country? I would threaten them with that, if you don't then hopefully you can file a charge back if you paid by credit card and lastly definitely make people aware on their social media page if you can, for everyone whos saying they never heard of them, serves you right for using no name etc, there are a lot of GPU AIB partners in Asia/middle east etc most of us wont of heard of as they only trade in those markets, doesn't mean they are shit or should be avoided.
 
They denied the RMA on the card because fire is a warranty exclusion!

That's ironic and perfect logic all at the same time. Gotta love how creative foreign brands deny BS warranties.
 
There is no such thing as denying an RMA. Failing of a component that is part of a product means that the whole product is under warranty and thus they have to replace it in the mandatory period that varies from region to region but as you said you have a warranty of 3 years so they are obligated to replace it. If the card was destroyed in a house fire the situation would be different.
Complain on Facebook.

PS never heard of Forsa.
 
Don't forget to also leave bad reviews on Google Maps and maybe Google + too and we in the USA have a website called yelp.com to leave good or bad reviews and maybe you have something like that if your not in the USA.
 
That's clearly a pretty crappy no name company I wouldn't touch. Thanks for the heads up, anyway.

This is why I try my damnedest to do business only with companies I can physically drive to. If I don't see a company has a USA headquarters I pass them up even if it cost me a little bit more money. Just like with those BS "void if removed stickers" which is literally against federal law in the United States, 9/10 companies will try their best to get away with anything they can if it makes them money or saves them money.

My daughter and my wife Like to make fun of me because I complain to companies when things don't go the way they're supposed to ,or if an item doesn't perform as it was intended. If this happened to me ,I would make it my job to either get the replacement I was owed, or put many hours into giving them terrible reviews , just ask one of the pizza restaurants here in my town :) $4 for extra topping My A$$

We have in TPU gpu database a Forsa GTX 1060 gaming lol, i just google it and voila!!!

FORSA was actually quite known in the Geforce 6000-9000 days. I remember their products very clearly.
They are not unknown.
 
Reply, and tell them the card was burnt due to a component failure; not by you setting up a fire in the house.

Make sure to take a screenshot of their response.

Did you overclock the cards? if not, contact their main office and Nvidia itself, threaten to report it to the press.
