Windows 10 going blank after about 20 minutes

Upon starting one of my systems windows will just go blank after running for about 20 minutes.
At first I thought maybe one of the video cards were overheating so I posted the system in the bios for about an hour and had 0 issues while in the bios. Checked all temps for CPU, Ram, System, and video cards and all are great.

Booted into windows and within about 20 minutes the screen has gone blank again. It actually shuts the monitor off. Turning the monitor back on does nothing. If I reboot it comes right back on and then again in 20 minutes it shuts down. Well, not shut down but goes blank. If I turn music on or whatever else, it still plays just the monitor shuts off.

I noticed that there are some windows updates and it is currently updating so after a while I'll reboot the system and see if it was one of the stupid windows updates a couple of weeks ago.

Has anyone else had these issues?

Suggestions are always appreciated.

Not happened to me.

Try doing a DDU clean in safe mode then reinstall drivers.

Kind of odd, as windows was updating the screen came back on?
Maybe I jumped the gun starting this thread. LOL

I'm on the system in question now as it just finished updating and I rebooted the system. It's now been on for about 10 minutes so I'll update in a half hour or so to state if it shuts off or not.

Try changing power plan to max performance if the problem persists,if it helps we might narrow it down.

Likely one of the sleep states is being activated and the hardware can't handle it. Go through your advanced power settings with a fine-tooth comb.

When it goes blank, wiggle the mouse, press a mouse button or tap on the keyboard's space bar and see if it comes back to life.

If it is going into sleep, might be a single press of the power button too. Obviously try that last.

Already done that several times the first time it happened.

Yep, did that on the second time it happened.

So far after the latest windows updates, it hasn't shut the monitor off. LOL
Maybe it was one of the last updates that happened a couple of weeks ago.

Possibly, make sure in power properties your monitor is not set to shut off after 20 minutes.

More than once windows 10 updates have done that to me. Just like... "Yep just gonna hard power down now. Not gonna tell yaz XD" "And then 30 minutes after i finish imma do it again... just when you think its over. Just blank your screen and hang on shutdown until you manually power down. Then ill engage in a bios level reboot to make you nervous. And then when you do boot back up ill resume updating. And then itll be like nothing ever happened. lolol XD"

Cheeky as hell sometimes. I swear...
