Windows 10 not working after malware removal

Just be aware if you're on an insider version of Windows 10 Malwarebytes can have trouble playing nice and can cause blue screens. You can search here on tech power up I created a thread with a link to a Malwarebytes beta that does work with windows 10 insider. It's something to do with the Malwarebytes root kit scan function + Windows 10 insider.

But that's only if you're an insider program not regular windows 10

I did a little bit of googling and didn't find anything refuting or supporting this. I want to believe you but do you have a link or something? I don't want to bother you but it's a subject that interests me.
Because that's how most root infections work.

Because that's how most root infections work.

Root infections can hide themselves when they are running, if that's what you're saying. But the MBR if it can be read can certainly be ascertained if it has been tampered with by malware in any boot mode. It's a matter of whether said malware is returning the real boot record and not a "shadow" one.

Naturally, most root level malware will not return the true boot record.
