Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

instructions on enabling remote desktop from powershell
http://blog.techygeekshome.info/2014/07/how-to-enable-remote-desktop-using-powershell/

then remote into the machine and install the win7/8.1 drivers for the chipset and usb.
I can install drivers fine with just the keyboard as is. I have installed the supposed correct drivers from intel, and they don't work.

I have never used remote desktop in windows before, but I have tried team viewer. Teamviewer should do the trick to give me mouse input.

ok looking over the board there are 3 possible usb chipsets. what revision is the board. 3.0 uses the nec driver (intels site) 3.1 uses the asmedia driver.

are there ! or unknown devices in device manager?
if so can you post the hardware ids (ie: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_15B6&SUBSYS_11112222&REV_00)

I've seen a few threads that mention disabling the selective sleep mode of usb under the advanced power plan helps resolve issues.

for the intel drivers see if this detects anything:
http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html?iid=dc_iduu

asmedia http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/DriversForWin10/USB3/USB3_AsMedia_Win10_64_VER116291.zip

for the nec try this driver
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8P67_PRO/HelpDesk_Download/
pick win7 64 bit for your os and look for the usb driver
or

The windows update mini downloaded some intel chipset and usb drivers. None worked. Thanks for the idea @Mussels

There are unknown devices. That is how I figured out that there are no compatible windows 10 drivers. This link describes another person having the same problems I am having.

Intel USB hardware ID:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C2D&SUBSYS_844D1043&REV_05

Asmedia USB 3.0 hardware ID:
PCI\VEN_1B21&DEV_1042&SUBSYS_84881043&REV_00

Both the intel and asmedia properties show the following message.
The software for this device has been blocked from starting because it is known to have problems with Windows. Contact the hardware vendor for a new driver. (Code 48)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.

I have already tried this and it did not work before. Tried it again and still did not work.

I've seen a few threads that mention disabling the selective sleep mode of usb under the advanced power plan helps resolve issues.
Even though this is a driver compatibility issue, I did this anyways. No change.

I am pretty sure I tried installing this already. I tried again and it did not work. I tried updating the drivers manually from that file and that also did not work.

I don't think either of these are drivers for this computer I tried installing them anyways. They did not work.

I am using teamveiwer now, which makes this a whole lot easier than trying to use a keyboard for everything.

I think it is time I just accept that this motherboard is currently incapable of upgrading to windows 10. I just started the revert to windows 7. Thanks for all of the support.

maybe try a different hard drive with a clean install instead of an upgrade? see if it works better on a spare hard drive

As mentioned earlier in the thread, I was upgrading this computer by request for a friend. To do a clean install would mean I would have to back up nearly all of his stuff and put it back. Even then there are no guarantee's it will work. Windows 10 states it does not support the hardware. Funny how I only find this out after I upgrade, and it was going to auto upgrade on its own anyways.
