Windows trouble

Hi all, windows seems to be doing something strange on my system. When i say rename a folder, or delete something or anything in a window it does not show up untill i refresh the window. As in go back into it after exiting for example.

For example, I renamed a music folder, nothing changed. I exited the folder. Went back into it and the change had been actioned.

Why? And how do i stop it? Thanks in advance!

its normal i think.. u go to view and click the refresh botton in explorer.. having said that its normal.. some things do appear without hitting the refresh button which in essence reloads the page kinda the same as it does in a web browser..

dont get me wrong windows can do some strange things.. but having used it for a great number of years i know there isnt any way of adjusting such things.. he he

You can quickly refresh just by pressing F5.

It's not normal. I don't have that problem. Whenever I rename or delete something it does so instantly, without refreshing. As for how to fix it, you've got me there.

scan for spyware, adaware is recommended as a free option,
make sure you dont have alot of memory hog style start up programs
