I an new at flashing and am trying to learn to do it safely and properly. It seems that it would be much easier using Winflash-is it just as reliable as using dos commands? I used it to save a copy of my current bios as a *.rom file. The new file I downloaded is a*.bin file.
Doesn't this have to be a .rom file? Can I just direct Winflash to the bin file. Any advice on my first flash would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
