anyone else think this game is kinda lame? I think that the lack of building a base really detracts from the overall experience. The graphics are prime though.

I liking it a lot reminds me off the Sudden Strike series (but u get new units) online could do with some work (but taht could be due to 'Air' players refusing to support Armour)

Every other time I've played an RTS thinking I'll love it, I've hated it. I hate the base building and all that prep work. Other people love that stuff, but every time I think I will, I don't. Never played any of the Total War games, though.

WiC is basically the RTS game for people who don't like RTS games. It also has a kickass nuke in it, of course:

I think what bothers me most is that I usually play a strong defensive style and the lack of building hurts that aspect of the game. That vid is sweet Deusxmachina, the clouds going by and the nuke annihilating those units looks amazing. If they made another that incorporated base building i would buy it in a second.
