Would this cpu work in a b250 msi motherboard

Hi would this cpu work in that type of motherboard , it's the right amount of pins but all I can find is no but im hoping im wrong.

No. It fits the socket but I don't think its compatible with the chipset

Technically it is possible, but not without modifying the bios and circumventing intentional blocking done in Intel's ME.
1150 was the last mainstream socket to happily accept xeons in consumer chipset boards.

Well I would use it for me so if you knew of link's I would appreciate a heads up.
I already have a Msi b250 that this would make useful.
 
Its the Intel C232 C236 chipset on 1151 socket that supports the Xeon
 
IIRC latest coffeetime tool (0.85a?) should adapt bioses for xeons just fine. You should find links and all necessary information on win-raid forums.
Keep in mind that those mods are recommended to be flashed into bios chip using hardware methods.
Do not proceed if you do not have tools and software needed to recover from bad flash.
