Hej. I try to find out, why GPU-Z (installed latest 2.41) just show 1.333MHz in the Memory Tab (in Registers "Graphics Card" and "Sensors") for the integrated APU (or iGPU) of the Ryzen 5700U, which uses 1.600MHz RAM (16GB).
At the Computerbase-Forum other users suggest that it is a reading error / database error.

Can you confirm, that the Vega 8 APU uses the RAM with 1.600MHz instead of 1.333MHz, when the System-RAM runs at 1.600MHz? (Or correct the values from the tool GPU-Z?)

Can you post a screenshot of the GPU-Z with CPU-Z Memory Tab side by side?

Yes.

I started the integrated Render-Test so that the GPU Clock goes to 1.900MHz and the Memory stays at max. 1.333.

edit: when clicking the options for lowest and maximum value for memory clock = it is the same = 1333,0MHz.

AIDA64 and CPU-z 1.97 show the 1.600MHz RAM:

It's interesting that CPU-Z is reading the GPU memory clocks wrong too, and a different value than GPU-Z at that. I'm going to go with the theory that this is an AMD driver reporting bug. It's just reporting garbage values because there really isn't a GPU memory speed to report. But someone with more knowledge on how these programs get their clock speed readings could probably give a better answer.

I don't think that it's AMD Driver related.

In GPUz 2.41 the wrong value for Memory Clock is locked for 5700U= stable@1333 (looks similar to the predecessor 4700U based on Renoir/ googled a picture with 2.37).

Lucienne has new/better Memory Controller/Idling/power saving features, it´s like Cezanne, just with Zen2 cores = Renoir Plus ... maybe the tool GPU-z has to consider that.
The Memory Clocking for 5700G (Cezanne) is correctly reported, 4example when OC = the tool can manage it.

How can i report "this error" for the 5700U (Lucienne) or do the programmers look into the forum?

Thanks, this should be easy to fix, you are available for Testing next week? I’m on holiday until Tuesday

Yes, i can test / have access to the laptop next week.

Please note GPU-Z is a "one-man show" :) so no programmerS involved, just one. :) As they say, he is The One. ;)
Of course, W1zzard cannot do all, so he gets some extra help from others with maintaining the GPU database and other website related issues/tasks. :)

Hej W1zzard.
I have found in GPU-Z the bug-reporting option via the validation upload and uploaded some infos several days ago.

Do you need any help to find out the real memory clocking "driver" of Lucienne (5700U/5500U)?

I also tried the tool ZenTimings - this tool shows (probably/hopefully) the correct clocks for MCLK, FCLK, UCLK when the CPU(GPU) is switching between idle, load and full-load.

You guys should have synced up via Skype and TeamViewer already, last week? :)

I thought you guys did that already - kind of disappointed it did not happen..

@Naki i It´s all fine. We had a meeting today - W1zzard found&fixed the "error"... the rest you will see in a new gpu-z release :D

Great news, thanks for the info! :)

Case can be closed :peace:
