Hi. I'm looking to get 1GB (2x 512's) of DDR2 533Mhz for my PC. 1GB isn't enough for the latest games on a system like this. I'm just looking for some cheap ram, preferably in UK.

i doubt 1gb of ram is bottlenecking you, i have 1gb and in games it isn't used totally, about 750mb :)

Oh trust me, BF2 Max 1280x1024 = Slideshow. Plus I could improve loading times :D And having 2GB would be nice anyways. Faster system is never a bad thing :p Anybody out there have ram, mofos?

why don't you buy a better mobo?
when i played bf2, i used max at 1280x1024 with no lag at all

but you're right when you say the more the better ;)

Me...? A better mobo...?? ROFL...

New mobo = money I haven't got...then I'd need a new case to put it in = more money, then a decent PSU to run it all = more money.

I'm 15 and have no job...it's kinda out of the question :p Good suggestion tho...anyways, back to the ram. Who got ram, beyotchezz? :D

why not, there are good micro atx board for 775, you should look for a cheap case, like those old beige and some decent psu

i don't have a job too, but i make some money by mounting pc's :)

Hmmmmmm, I think all the good overclocking boards are ATX, plus I think getting good stuff now will save me money later on...:D

Just a case of waiting for some miracle to happen so I can get new stuff...*looks at God*
