Hi guys,
Just competed an upgrade with the following platform and I'm not entirely sure whether the RAM is actually running at the rate XMP speed?
MOBO - MSI X299M GAMING PRO CARBON AC
CPU - i7 7820X
RAM - Corsair Vengeance White LED 32GB(8GBx4) 3400MHz DDR4 RAM CMU32GX4M4C3400C16
The timings for the selected RAM is as follows and they are on the QMVL list from MSI suitable for the MOBO:

The timings for the selected RAM is as follows and they are on the QMVL list from MSI suitable for the MOBO:
SPD Latency - 15-15-15-36
SPD Speed - 2133MHz
Tested Latency - 16-18-18-36
Tested Speed - 3400MHz
Tested Voltage - 1.35V
So I've tried quite a few things and have set the timings and speed manually in the BIOS as per the XMP profile for 3400MHz. The BIOS is indicating that the RAM is 3400MHz and CPUZ is also indicating 3400MHz (1700 x 2). However Task manager, MSI Command Centre and the Command Prompt check indicates that the speed is 2133MHz. Is the BIOS and CPUZ correct and possibly the other programs are simply reporting the SPD speed and not the actual?SPD Speed - 2133MHz

Tested Speed - 3400MHz
Tested Voltage - 1.35V
