Hi all,

I need a something that will work on a 360 that will record videos of games and take screenshots as well. I'm not sure if this is the right area, but yeah.

Any help would be great!

Output of the Xbox to the input of your PC? Use whatever cabling you want, most commonly composite though I'd imagine you'd want some other input due to crap quality on composite.

But nothing that I can actually load onto the X360 that will function as a FRAPS? (I recently had trouble connecting the 360 to my PC)

Can't you upload Fraps to your 360....?

How would i do that anyway?

Bump . . . . .

Maybe put it on an external hdd? I don't really know, just throwing out ideas...

You're probably in need of a capture card my friend.

play in standard def and use the cables with splitters running to a usb capture device / tv.

look up capture cards, dazzle, blitzbox. you have to do something of that nature. I personally use my HD camcorder and set it to SD and stream through firewire to get a picture onto my desktop with vlc, from there I can record it as if it was being played on my pc monitor.

so 360---tv <-camcorder---firewire---pc
360----ryw---|splitters|=====tv\usb cap device

Have you got a DVD Recorder? If you do just plug your 360 into that, it will be in SD though but some DVD recorders accept Component which will probably help with image quality. It's probably the best way to get a direct video and audio source. I just use my phone by lining it up to the TV and turning the volume up a bit, using cameras isn't all bad, but a capture card or DVD recorder is best.

ok, so what one would you recommend?

I've used an ATI Theater 650pro. Liked it except no HD support. I'm using a WinTV-PVR-150 right now. Again no HD support, I wasn't a fan of the setup, but once I got it working, I've been liking it since. I'm upgrading to a HD one soon, dunno which though. Sorry I can't help for HD ones :(

I use a camera with no flash on my flat screen TV to get stills. I never could find a good solution for this problem.
