I've been trying to find some stuff about these two, I can find a review about the X38 one, and in forums, ppl say it is a great board, stable at high FSB, etc.
Now, the X48...I can't find anything?! The only difference I am able to find is the power saving feature that comes as standard and that is from the gigabyte web site... is there something more in favor of the X48? Like less heat or so? Anyone has experience with one of these/both?
Also, I'm most probably getting a E8400, some 4GB ram, a new PSU. I'll keep the GFX until Ati HD4XXX come out to see if they're any good/better than the current line up of Nvidia (8800GT/GTS/9800GTX).
Thanks.
