Before I get flamed for buying this card just accept that fact that I bought it. 
(When OC'd it stomps the 9800XT.)
I got the card from newegg. It has the 256 bit memory interface and 256MB of ram. After reading this article: http://www.digit-life.com/articles2/radeon/rx800-9.html I thought that it would be easy to do the hardware mod and flash the bios. By the way, with artic cooler it does 560 core and 560 mem.
Long story short, I botched the mod and LOST 4 of the 8 pipelines. Newegg was kind enough to RMA the card despite my mistake. I think the mod is possible due the laser cut that it has in common with the pro. Before I try this mod again, has anyone modded this card to a PRO or XT successfully?
