if you dont need any special software just only windows drivers for accessing this device then it should work.

Do you have Nero?
Or what program do you use for burning CDs?

It is not enough to copy the system files, it must be systemed (copied to the first sector of medium)

Start Nero Burning Rom and in the left pane select "CD-ROM (Boot)". Put bios and flashrom into this compilation and burn.

Why do i need flashrom. The Gigabyte support told me to use this only

You need some ultility which will copy the bios file to your gr. cards bios. I personaly prefer flashrom (can unlock pipes if possible).

No it will not open pipes, because your X800XL uses 16 pipes, so there are no more unlockable pipes.
You can also use AtiFlash - can be found on TechPowerUp in bios section i think

Yes, but CD has one big disadvantage - you can not write on it while you have booted from it

Decided not to flash it, since im gona RMA it. I hope its broken so i can get another one

Try to get Sapphire X800GTO2 instead of your X800XL.

No if i can change to another its going to be an HIS X850XT, But i want to be 100% sure its broken, since if i send it to them they're gona test it but its easy to miss those lines and just ignore them

With Sapphire X800GTO2 you can unlock pipes fo sure and overclock it, so you get performance comparable to X850XT PE for a cheaper price than X850XT.
