It was just last Wednesday when Microsoft released Xbox Live Video marketplace. Unfortunately, there have been a large volume of reported problems. The most common problem is that people cannot complete downloads of movies. Movies are said to stop downloading at a certain point. While this doesn't sound like anything more than an annoyance, Xbox Live Video customers are not allowed to retry the download more then twice before calling Microsoft to refund the spent Xbox Live "points". And even when movies finish downloading, they are full of bugs. Fully downloaded movies sometimes simply do not work, or are not allowed to fast forward, a behavior associated with movies that haven't finished downloading. Microsoft has been working hard since Wednesday night to fix these issues. The average wait time to get a point refund over the phone is about 30 minutes.
