Hello everyone, (I hope I am in the correct place to post this, if not apologies)

I have been reading your posts gladly before writing this one.

I am having a black screen at boot and the bios "never ends" booting, and remains frozen there, and at the motherboard integrated 'code screen' says "62" instead of the usual "AA", so I have to press the reset button to fix the whole thing and boot normally (as I could see it is a common issue with this branch of AMD/ATI RX 580 model).

So that makes me think about the firmware/bios of the Graphic Card because there is A Lot! of bios (quantity) and I notice that some of these Cards can share the same ROM.rom binaries even between different models...(or maybe I misunderstood that).

Based on your experience guys, this could be the case?, is my Graphic card having the wrong bios flashed? or simply the wrong sets on the motherboard bios? even if I was always using the same mobo bios sets with different Graphics cards with no problem. I have to make you notice that I never flashed the bios of this Graphics Card, (I never flashed a graphic card bios before, actually).

The Graphic Card in question is the old XFX RX 580 8GB:

I found this ROM that seems to match:

the most: XFX rx-580p8d 8 GB BIOS # The thing is that standing at the GPU-Z output, 'GPU clock' and 'Memory clock' does not match... but at "Model" entry is the only one that matches 100%

not sure: AMD RX 580 (RX-580P8DFD6)
XFX RX 580 OC+

Thank you in advance! :)

Did you lookup the debug code 62 for your motherboard?

Hello and thank you for your answer,
No, I did not yet, my Motherboard is a Chinese (Aliex***ss), the X99 intel chipset with 2 CPU sockets etc..., so there is no Manual of bios codes. My hope is that should be a "universal" code, (hopefully)
model should be this: KLLISRE X99 DUAL ( ZX-DU99D4 )

The person who gives me the Graphic Card (Former owner) had the same problem on his Motherboard (obviously a different model)

62 = Installation of the PCH runtime services
List of codes here.

So you are saying the card works properly on warm boot but not cold?
Couldn't this be motherboard BIOS?
Just from looking at the board, I want to blame it, not the GPU.
Good luck :)

...funny thing, in fact the mobo is what it is  , ( but to be honest, I have to sai that it is been working perfectly until now, no issues with other graphics cards), but one thing remains guys...:

The owner of the graphic card before me, (who give me the graphic card), had the same problem, he gives to me this Card to give it a try, his Motherboard it is not a Chinese one :D , so...,
[two different Motherboards] with the same Graphic Card and the same issue? I think it is the Graphic Card, despiste my Chinese Mobo :D

don't you think?

Well, after what you described, it is possible that the card BIOS was modded.
So in that case you have a mining BIOS in it.
I will need another picture for narrowing down the file that matches your card's memory.
GPU-z > Advanced tab - from dropdown menu choose memory timings
Also i would suggest to put your BIOS here to take a look at it.

Hello, thank you for your reply :)

I am still finding the way to upload bios ROM (in the forum) or edit (program) for the ROM file, in order to be able to show you...., I am not use to edit this kind of files :D

Ok, nvm.
I will search the right file for you.

OK, here you go : BIOS file that matches your card's ID , sub ID and memory codes :

Also here you have a short guide how to flash it :
