XFX Qick 319 6700XT - Unknown bios - help

I received 3 XFX Qick 319 6700XT GPU's that were used for mining (all have same issue). The pervious person tired to flash the incorrect bios to them (the Merc 319 bios).
The GPU IS reconized by the PC through GPU-Z but the bios is unknown. I downloaded the correct Qick319 bios (there are 2 of them: one for standard, one for boosted)
I have tried the following steps to remedy this:

1) AMDVFlash on Windows 11 3.31 version, to flash the correct bios, but it is not reconnized and will not flash them as it is not reconized (both bio's versions and both sides of the switch).

2) AMDV USB FreeDos, but that didn't work either.

3) I got a CH341a chip reader/writter (this is how i found out it was using the MERC 319 vbios). I was able to save those bios (althought not the correct ones) and erase the vbios, then write the Qick 319 bios.
- This board is a dual VBios with 2 chips, so I flashed them in all the configuartions possible: Boost on one Reg on other, then Reg on one Boost on other, Reg on both, Boost on both, and each time resetting the computer and with each combo flipping the switch to test both right and left switch. This did not work.
- Then tried the MERC 319 just to see and that didn't work either.

I've kinda of exhaused all my avenue's here and cant find anything else online to help me. Anyone got any suggestions? Again the computer see's the AMD RX 6700XT, but bios are always unknown. I'm hesitant to flash the base vbios.

Any ideas?

Since they are tainted, you will need to do this, get pictures of white stickers from the card, also look for any part numbers on the pcb itself, and get a picture of a ram chip and a picture of the metal frame surrounding the gpu die, there should be numbers on it- take a pic and make sure it is clear.

Ok def a 6700xt core

67XTYP VD.0

XFX SPEEDSTER QUICK319 RADEON RX 6700XT BLACK 12G D6 HDMI 3xDP

No, straight onto the MBO. I've fixed 6 6700xt's but these Qick319 are proving to be a pain...
Try contacting xfx and be detailed like you were here to see if they can give you particular bios, if not see my next paragraph below.

If anything I suspect they were put online because they were broken and the miner is a scammer. I would suggest you get your money back and report the seller if they claimed the cards were working.

This is why i dont suggest used parts...

I got 10 cards from the same guy, fixed 7 of them,l. Also got all 10 for $400 so can't complain if I can't get the last 3 fixed. I'll contact XFX and try that route. Thanks!

Does those 3 have the same part number on the PCB? And the other 7 cards does they have the same different part number on the PCB?

I think the BIOS isn't the culprit. Your GPU runs at the x4 PCI-e mode which signals about a failure on the GPU side (power saving changes the generation, not the lane count, you'd see x16 @ 1.1 if it worked properly). Reballing/replacing the die is a radical action but can't see how else you could fix it. It's also most likely not worth it, dies are expensive.

the other 7 were different cards: Radeon RX 6700XT's, 6800's and a 6600XT, but the 3 Qick319's that are not working are all the same Parts and models none of the Qick319's I received work.

yeah I'm not gunna replace the die.

@Macro Device, we tried with 1 last bios flash before considering a hardware fault tyvm.

Contacted XFX and they said to use the Merc 319 vbios https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/232238/ still doesnt show vbios ID

Update: Got a response from FXF Again ,they stated "Just some background information, there isnt any difference in the PCB when it comes to MERC/QICK, all of the physical difference are in the cooling solution for those models. BIOSs are interchangable as long as the memory modults the match the vBIOS specs."
This being said, I tried the Other Merc bios with different hash #'s but same chip ID's, and still nothing. Pretty sure these are dead cards unfortunately.
