Hello everyone,

I have a XFX RX 5700 THICC II DD Ultra video card, in general terms it suits me, but there are nuances. I managed to achieve stable operation only with manual tuning (1018 mV 1905 Mhz +20% PL 59% Fan), with the case cover open, the memory temperature is 76-78. There is a margin of overclocking according to the limit of power consumption, but the memory reaches 82 and starts to reset frequencies, reaching 85 and the video card is completely turned off. At temperatures 82-84 sometimes throws out of the game. Who knows, maybe this is a limitation in the BIOS? If I’m not mistaken, my micron’s memory, I don’t do overclocking. I unsubscribed to the manufacturer about the copper plate, maybe I have an aluminum one so it gets warm. Maybe it's worth changing to the XT version? What BIOS is suitable for my video card? Thank you all in advance.

The Thic II reviewed with the worst thermals for Navi they actually quickly came our with the Thic III to rectify it.

I registered the product on the manufacturer’s website and opened a request, they will probably determine what type of plate I am using by the serial number. Do they ship the whole radiator with a cooler? Excuse me if I showered questions, but does it make sense to change BIOS of her older model 57XT828D6?

There is probably no better/different BIOS worth the trouble. Setting your own very aggressive fan curve would be easier way to combat its poor cooling solution.
