I don't know if I'm posting this in the correct place but I really need help with this problem. I bought some Ram the other day (Corsair Vengeance LPX 16gb DDR4 3200mhz) and when I go to turn on the XMP profile nothing changes. I make sure to save changes and exit and the computer restarts but when i check CPU-Z, nothing has changed.

My Specs
GPU: Evga Gtx 970
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2x8 16gb 3200mhz
MotherBoard: AsRock B450m Pro4

Screenshots of CPU-z memory tabs please.
What speed are they currently running at default?

They're running at 2133MHz.
I think the max they can run with that Processor is 2933MHz but I may be wrong, hoping someone else jumps in with more knowledge about timings etc.

This is what it's been saying since I installed the ram. Nothing has changed

I looked it up and it says the max is 2933 but I don't understand why when i tried to overclock it, it still didn't work

What Exact Model # RAM Kit do you have ?
Also what BIOS version are you using ?

Your MB does support 3200 RAM with a Ryzen 2600 BUT the RAM kit you bought may Not work at that speed.
Corsair RAM has a history of Not working at the full rated speed on Ryzen systems.

Try enabling the A-XMP Profile (in the BIOS) for 3200 BUT then change the Memory frequency to 2866 and see if it boots.
If it does Boot at 2866 try changing the Memory Frequency to 2933 and see if that will boot.
