Printed or not, probably the best idea. I did read (somewhere) that they may be coating bullets in some sort of pollen to aid in criminal investigations.

My father makes his own 45.ACP lead slugs for plinking and reloads his own ammo. Its very easy and a monkey can do it......I'm proof of this.

Theres a LOT of energy in a cartridge "bullet", even rimfire. There is a reason you have NEVER seen a firearm with anything other than metal used for the barrel/action/receiver. Especially since the introduction of cartridge style ammo...

You want a "plastic" gun? Get a Glock.
Not exactly. I guess you never heard of the "Bic .22". There was an article a few years back in The National Rifleman how to make a working .22 single shot with a bic pen. Those lil' rim fires unless they are magnum or "long" don't have much pressure at all.
