I definitely do not like the holes, the external construction / finish looks typical of the $25-$50 category .... can't comment on the performance ... Most of what I see ritten about it is RGB related and, for me, that's a downside. But if that's an important component of ya build, I would guess that could justify the cost.

There are a number of commercial off the shelf plastic mold shells that companies can have made. Thats why there are so many similar looking mice. However the circuit board, sensor, and switches often differ.

I thought "it can't be that bad" but holy crapknuckles that thing will turn gross in no time at all. I really hope it's easy to dismantle, and that you can wash the non electronic bits with soap. I see it as a necessity for mice and keyboards.



Weight can be important. I bought a Logitech G602 for the laptop which I mostly use in the couch or a comfy chair, and that thing is way too heavy for comfort there, plus it sucks at moving on jeans for some reason. So the old MS Optical Basic it is.

There are tons of great gaming mice around, light and heavy and in all sizes with 'perfect' sensors. This gaming peripheral business is 80% snake oil, and 19% placebo. Any mice over 40 bucks better be really special to justify the price IMO. I mean, a real argument for spending more on the same would be that its a perfect fit for your hand. But not a 10-15g weight difference.

I honestly don't care as long as it's comfy and it works nice. The target demographic is everyone, you see the guys on r/mousereview raving about this mouse? They might have their expectations too high, but let's see what we get, tomorrow. (It releases tomorrow)

You have to imagine a bunch of marketing types sitting in a room discussing what reactions their ad campaign is trying to draw in this target demographic:

"It has blinky lites ! ... it's different ! .... my friends will be so impressed with my bold choice."

Im thinking .... the dried oils from my hand / fingers and all the dust stuck to it that comprises the crud I scrach off my mouse feed once a week will now be inside my mouse. Add a little mayo that squeezed outta my sandwhich, ... or maybe PB &J

****, we have to remove the bottom 2 mouse feet to open the mouse. All these nice features and they couldn't incorporate a better way to open the mouse, or at least 2 replacement mouse feet?

Preorders and low supply is how you take a $10 mouse and make people believe it is a $50 mouse.

It has a good sensor and it's light weight, basically kinda has a stock paracord and it has good feet. That to me is not worth $10.
Plus, even if it were $10, it'd be the same for other mice as well, it's just business.
