The TechPowerUp crew had trouble keeping up with the plethora of new "panoramic view" P-series cases being exhibited at Zalman's Computex booth. Starting with mid-range products; the South Korean brand has prepared various (up to microATX format) P30 and P30 DS2 color options. The latter is equipped with a fancy two-piece detachable glass section, and an integrated 9.1" LCD panel (4:1 ratio). The P30 family was designed with air flow and maximized ventilation in mind—paired with a minimal aesthetic. The P30 DS2 is bundled with three 120 mm ARGB fans, while its plain sibling is appropriately equipped with three non-ARGB units. Both can support up to 360 mm top-mounted AIOs.
Nearby, the larger P50 DS2 and P40 DS2 models—accepting up to ATX-sized motherboards—were similarly configured with integrated 9.1" LCD panels, albeit placed in their bases. Extra internal space grants support of back-connected mainboard designs/layouts, and side-mounted radiators (up to 360 mm). According to specification placards, the two models are very similar feature-wise. Overall, the P50 occupies a little bit more volume.
Zalman's demo systems were prepped with full controls; enabled via a dedicated software suite. System monitoring, widgets, and display customization options were showcased at Computex.
A white-themed P40 DS2 build made use of an intriguing graphics card support bracket. This unusual specimen—sporting an integrated display and an ARGB strip zone—was holding up a Gigabyte Aero GeForce RTX model.
TechPowerUp performed a close-up inspection elsewhere—focusing on a black P50 DS2 builds—and quickly realized that Zalman has readied slightly different variant. These demo units were outfitted with smaller 6-inch LCD (1:2.05 ratio) screens; placed on side or front panels.
A P60 (non-DS2) dual-chamber specimen housed plenty of mostly white components; a clear panoramic view was provided by a curved piece of tempered glass. Again, this enclosure is large enough to support back-connected board designs.
The TPU team spent time looking at empty P40 NAMU cases. These spin-offs sport subtle strips of "wooden element" material; highlighted by playing host to side-placed I/O connections.
The company's entry-level non-panoramic P10 NAMU case design option borrows Scandi-esque elements from notable rivals (e.g Fractal). Wooden (or wood-effect) slats are prominent visual appointments.
