Hi guys, anyone with a good review of the ZOTAC GTX 1070 amp extreme ?
Or techpowerup don't you want to do it please ? I think that your review are really good and advanced.

It's more like who Zotac choose to send a review sample to rather than who chooses to go out and buy one themselves, it would be a fairly expensive exercise to buy every model to review, apart from that reviews take a huge amount of time, I am sure some will come out before too long, especially if it is as good as I see some people saying it is.

Although I like Zotac , that Zotac GTX 1070 Amp Extreme has power consumption 220W !!! Why ??? EVGA GTX 1070 SC is 170-180W . Why so much Zotac ? This , time i am not for Zotac , despite i love these guys !

Because it is on steroids? It has dual 8 pin PCI-E connectors.

My ZOTAC's power consumption is the same as reference and the other non-reference cards and I also have two 8-pin PCI-E connectors.

The TDP is higher at 220W, but it doesn't mean it will use 220W all the time.

I dont think you will go wrong with a zotac card. Have had like 3 different cards from Zotac now and no of them have ever failed. 3 x GTX 285, 2 x GTX 660 TI and right now 2 x GTX 970.
