I think this monitor has a better CNR than my Vizio or as good as my Vizio one. I am glad to see more monitors with a cheaper price for a bigger one. My asus was a steal for a 22" but Id love to get my hands on a 30" Dell or Gateway or Apple LCD.

Is AOC a good company?
Depends. I always thought they were the brand Element. But I could be wrong.
And they are alright afaik. Never owned one, but the picture is good on some of them.

Well.... Not as cheap as a my BenQ I will need to see if this baby have higher image quality.
I will expect this be better than my El Cheapo $193 BenQ.

Benq Monitors are pretty good. AOC is a pretty well known company just I dont think in the gamer enthusiast markets. There are tons of AOCs at school and a couple of jobs I worked at

I have a 22" AOC. It's faultless for gaming but the PQ is a little washed out as compared to higher priced monitors. Much of that colour deficiency however is dealt with by nvidia digital vibrance - turn this up.

AOC screens are always cheaper to make up for the slightly lower quality.

They're awesome for budget screens.
