Corsair, a worldwide leader in high-performance computer and flash memory products, today announced that the Dominator GTX1 ultra-high performance DDR3 memory module (CMGTX1) has passed Intel’s XMP-Ready certification at the blistering speed of 2333MHz, surpassing Corsair’s 2000MHz modules as the fastest XMP-certified memory in the world.

Corsair Dominator GTX modules are individually hand-screened and tested to ensure unmatched performance. They are designed specifically for enthusiasts and overclockers who want to achieve the highest performance possible, and to break benchmark world records.

Intel’s engineers awarded the XMP-Ready certification to 2 x 2GB Corsair CMGTX1 modules running at the incredible frequency of 2333MHz using low timings of 9-11-9-27 at a voltage of just 1.65V. The test platform was a Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4P motherboard. The successful XMP certification is a testament to the performance capabilities as well as the stability of both the memory and the target platform.

“Building the fastest memory for extreme overclockers and enthusiasts requires considerable engineering expertise, combined with a unique understanding of the complexities of overclocking,” said Kevin Conley, VP of Engineering at Corsair. “Intel is one of the most meticulous and sophisticated technology companies in the world, and so achieving XMP-Ready certification at the astonishing frequency of 2333MHz once again clearly demonstrates Corsair’s performance leadership.”

Corsair Dominator GTX1 modules are individually screened and tested on multiple high-performance Intel P55 chipset platforms. In addition to the XMP-Ready certification at a frequency of 2333MHz, they are guaranteed by Corsair to operate at up to 2400MHz at timings of 9-11-9-27 at 1.65V.

Corsair Dominator GTX modules are available exclusively from Corsair’s Online Store. They utilize Corsair's patented DHX+ heatsink and are supplied with extra-tall cooling fins to maximize heat dissipation. They are sold as a single module, allowing enthusiasts to simply buy the number of modules they require. Corsair recommends using the GT Airflow fan with tall mounting brackets, also available from the Corsair Online Store (part number CMXAF2 GTL).

As Corsair Dominator GTX1 modules are screened by hand, in multiple passes, at Corsair's lab in Fremont, California, availability is extremely limited and is on a first come, first served basis only.

More information about Intel XMP-Ready memory, including lists of XMP-certified memory products, can be found here.

About DHX+ Technology
Corsair's patented DHX+ technology uses specially designed, high-quality heatsinks and a custom-designed PCB that allows both the front and rear of the memory ICs, as well as the printed circuit board itself, to be cooled. DHX+ technology also allows for the cooling fins to be removed, allowing for a range of modular cooling accessories including extended heatsink fins, the Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H30 water cooling block and Corsair Cooling Ice Series T30 sub-ambient cooling subsystem, which cools the memory up to 20°C below room temperature for maximum overclocking performance. DHX and DHX+ designs are covered by US Patent number 7,606,034.

Those timings suck.

But man, now you can extend your e-peen greatly by saying: "my RAM runs at 2.3 GHz!!!" Most of the world is still at 0.8 GHz, so...

The only thing I think is that they do not lose time in release of memories .. always wanting to get one in front of another in MHZ

I thought intel systems benefited from uber clocks more then better timings?

ehhh, didn't G.Skill acutally claimed the top spot with some 2400Mhz memory kits??

yes but re read this "World’s Fastest Intel XMP-certified Memory" its actually very specific  The other ones were not XMP certified!

Sounds like an ad-hoc certification.. hey at least its not Fermi Certified or Mr.T Certified

Perhaps you should look up what XMP is before making such statements.

The flaw with this is that it will cost more than anybody can afford, and won't bring enough benefits to justify that. But the game must go on and gulftown and so on will be here soon.

I will ask Dr. Money, if this ram good for my health:D It probably sells for $350 ea. stick of 2GB:eek:

Anybody it applies to, but it was specifically directed at the comment directly preceding it, from bjorn of iceland. XMP isn't just some piece of paper, it is a system where profiles are on the RAM stick's EPROM and the BIOS reads settings to apply to enable quick and reliable overclocking of RAM by selecting the profile you wish to use. Which is quite different from all those certification that are only PR and ways to get money from companies for a meaningless piece of paper. I'm not saying XMP is perfect though, and it's an intel thing so they (probably) do get benefits from it, but at least it has some technical aspects you know. I'm sorry if I come across a bit snippy though, and I could have use quoted but I really meant to direct it at anybody that didn't inform himself a bit of what XMP is before making a statement about it.

Ahh its just initially I thought it was aimed at me and made quite a defensive post back, but then realised I'd look like a fool if you weren't talking to me, thought it better to ask first before I get snippy myself

So that means that if a memory is XMP certified, you just plug it and voilá?No headaches about compability, look for a better BIOS version and stuff? And here I was thinking this is was jsut a label to make money. Thanks!

basically you have a few preconfigured options. I had sticks that done 1600 @ 8/8/8/24 or 1800 @9/9/9/24 And it was as simple as choosing the profile. FSB setting doesn't matter when it comes to XMP profiles they're pretty handy sometimes, however I tend to do things manually anyway

Those timings suck.
Wait 3 months and a set will come out with tighter timmings, also keep in mind these are almost double the speed of the fastest DDR2, perhaps DDR4 is coming in a year or so ?

I say they suck cause G.Skill has done better. I could care less about XMP because im not lazy and like to overclock.

or you could just use the cheap 1333 kit of crucial that does same clocks same timings albiet higher voltage

I say it depends on the price! After all IBM have done better then your rig, doesn't make yours suck XD

Yea but my rig i can garuntee you is alot cheaper. Also, G.Skills 2400 PIs are alot cheaper than any Dominator GTXs

Wait, you wouldn't buy something Mr. T certified? Disregard WoW.
