GlacialTech rolled out its new IceLight series of illuminated case fans. Available in 80 mm and 120 mm sizes, these fans come with transparent frames, fans with gloss-coated blades, and LEDs of various colors to give multicolored illumination. The IceLight 8025 (80 mm) has a speed of 1700 rpm, 19 dBA of rated noise output, and pushes 24.5 CFM of air, while the IceLight 12015 (120 mm) spins at 1000 rpm, with 20 dBA noise output, pushing 45.8 CFM of air. Both have rated MTBF of 30,000 hours. The blades are detachable, for cleaning. Their pricing isn't known as yet.

Nice if you're into bling and such. :)

I'd really prefer manufacturers spend their time and R&D producing durable, efficient (cfm per dba) fans with consistent quality control and honest airflow and noise ratings, for a reasonable price. They can be as ugly as they want, any color, and still that's what I'd prefer, period.

They're fans, not Christmas ornaments.

GlacialTech has made black fans for years and I've used them plenty. Mine are entering bearing and thus really silent at the 1000rpm. They give honest airflow and noise and are cheap.

Had mostly the older 9 blade design GT1225EBDL-1:s (comresurs.ru/pickat2/90979.jpg) and later on PWM version on CPU (www.glacialtech.com/products/images/1225pwm-B.jpg).

Here are some charts:

So I'm glad they made some clear 'bling' fans too. Don't need any at the moment, but would surely try those with the experience I've had with them.

Im into to bling and stuff, but imo, multicolored led fans are downright ugly.. so very 90's.. where sleeving was unheard off, and the best cable management was zip tying the psu cables.
