Scythe Shows Off Case With Leather Front And New Cooler

Scythe is showing off numerous new cases, one of which has a spiffy leather front. While the chassis at CeBIT features a black patch of the material, we could see other colors happen (like pink for the ladies?). The chassis not yet ready for market, while the other enclosures which feature a clean look & feel are ready to go shortly. All of these are aimed at the mainstream market with very affordable price points.

As seems to be tradition with Scythe these days, we are seeing another extreme prototype CPU cooler with four fans blowing down on it. The new Yasya CPU cooler features an elaborate cooler design and Scythe is even showing off an all copper prototype, while the retail version has the traditional aluminum & copper combination.

Let's not ignore the fact that scythe also presented the Ninja 3.

pantherx12I sincerely hope not, big fans are useless, no pressure!
That would depend on the fan, no?

14cm fans are better then 12cm ones, no? Just look @ the new Noctua cooler, for example!

Gemini is much smaller. 5th of it is the fan support and have one in one of my systems and once you do away with the fan mounting parts it's small in against the one that the OP posted the heatsink seems to go to edge to edge of the fans lol..

In case some of you missed it, Ninja 3:

I'm not a fan, altho many are, and tbh the stacked heatpipes don't look good either. We'll have to wait and see.

Notice the positioning of the cooling fins on the Yasya cooler, it really looks nice and I love how the ends of the heat pipes look.

who designed the Susano? Donald Trump and his merry band of bad rug gangs?
That thing will cool everything on the motherboard but will only work for HTPC uses with on board video.I mean how is anyone going to crossfire the 6000 series with 4 fan cpu coolers?

Only on split tower type designs like your cooler you mentioned.

the bigger the fan the more difficult it is to achieve static pressure , which is want to want on tightly packed fin arrays/radiators etc : ]

For example my 120mm silenx 90cfm fan feels like its moving much more air then my 22cm akasa fan that moves 100 cfm.

feels "windier" for lack of a better description

Wow, Im liking the cooling companies (memory makers too) bringing out their Chassis. Looks pretty decent for a midsize and Im sure cooling with these towers are superb.

Pretty sure I would as well, even if the performance is beaten by other coolers, it looks purty!

Gota say the ninja is still a stupid design for a cooler ( inefficient ) costs to much for the cooling that it achieves, unless they've done something magic with this revision.

With that Susano you can leave off the sidepanel since the metal of the cooler will shield it anyway, and you have to since else there's no place to get all the air those fans are trying to push.

I don't like the leather on the case BTW, I'm not a leather fan but I think that they should have gone with brown leather maybe and a bit of a humidor look (or cowboy look?), but either way I'm not a person that likes leather.
