G.Skill Releases World's Fastest Memory, Trident 2500 MHz DDR3 Dual-Channel Kit

the P55 series was made to handle faster ram than X58 its a known fact, hence why intel original spec was ddr3 1066 for 1366 and ddr3 1333 for 1156.

Yeah, all of the fastest kits are only 2x2GB. What I did a couple of months ago was split 3 2x2GB sets of Geil 2133 sticks with a friend. It worked out to $185 a piece for 6GB.

Plus, add a third stick and you have RAM for an X58. I would fully expect G.Skill to sell a triple kit of these. You can always run dual channel on your X58's too.

Not for the speeds they don't suck. I mean, there have been some lowers one offered, but the price has been well above 300 or 400 bucks for them. I wonder if my Tridents can hit 1866??
