TechPowerUp today released a timely update to GPU-Z. TechPowerUp GPU-Z is a handy graphics subsystem information, diagnostic, and monitoring utility that lets you see details about the graphics hardware and related system software installed, and monitor various parameters such as clock speeds, voltages, fan-speeds and temperatures, in real-time. Version 0.4.5 of GPU-Z adds support for several new GPUs, fixes detection bugs with certain GPUs (especially the GeForce GTX 460), and fixed a critical stability issue. The PowerColor and TechPowerUp GPU-Z Hardware Giveaway is ongoing and into its second (and final) month. Users can participate from this version of GPU-Z.

did this one fix the temps on the GTX480 messing up?

the temps on mine will get stuck at 80C in GPUz, then I restart GPUz and it shows what they actually are(38C)Fan running at 100% also.

Umm i kinda feel supid asking this as i know tpu and the w1zzard are to be trused but avg has just told me that gpu-z 0.4.5 is infected with a trojan called SHeur3.AUVX

the stupid thing is i had already ran it once and no problems, can i just attribute this to avg sucking?

AVG is only good for deleting keygens and picking up on false positives.

lol true, i moved onto avast a while back im just using an old ide hard drive right now to retrive some files and got lazy so have not swapped it bk out yet but could not resist trying out the new gpu-z as for some reason the vrm temp graph is not working for me but it stopped after a bios flash so i assume its my fault

I would recommend MSE, was the only one light enough for my tastes and had good detection... but then MS started using it to force windows updates on you even if you disabled them... a big no no when programs act against you like that.
