Palit is indeed working on a low-profile GeForce GTS 450 graphics card, apart from the full-height model which was pictured earlier. While this card is low-profile (half-height), it occupies two expansion slots, and looks somewhat longer than the full-height card. Other than its size and shape, the card sticks to NVIDIA reference specifications and clock speeds, that's 789/1566/900(3600) MHz core/shader/memory, 192 CUDA cores, and 1 GB of GDDR5 memory across a 128-bit wide memory interface. It draws power from one 6-pin PCI-E power connector. Palit's low-profile card could cost a small premium over standard cards.

RED PCB? yuck!
Most SFF cases don't even have side windows. Why should it matter if the PCB is even soft-pink?

Unfortunately in most consumers eyes its aesthetics > functionality

Wonder how loud the fan will be. Have to wait for someone to look at it I guess.

OMG that is a dead sexy low profile card.

it says SLi on the box too... that could be one beastly low profile machine.

Hmmm the powercolor low profile 5750 was interesting me to put in my htpc but after just taking a look at the spec and cooler on this i have almost changed my mind.

I really hope w1zzard can get a hold of one of these for review as i really want to know more so that if it meets my needs i could hopefully get my htpc folding and have the power for a little sofa baised gaming :D

Based on this I'd say it's pretty awful. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showpost.php?p=4532422&postcount=39

Can't even touch a 5770 with that overclock. Maybe it's meant for the $100 segment?
