May 17 Launch for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560

NVIDIA is set to launch its next upper-mainstream GPU, the GeForce GTX 560 (not to be confused with GeForce GTX 560 Ti) on May 17. Designed to compete with AMD's Radeon HD 6790, the new GTX 560 is based on the same GPU as the GTX 560 Ti, the 40 nm GF114. It has 336 out of 384 CUDA cores enabled, while most other specifications of the GPU are untouched. The core clock speed is said to be not less than 800 MHz, making it faster than GeForce GTX 460, which otherwise has the same specifications while being based on the older GF104 silicon.

Jonap_1sti check on AMD site, it still tagged for OEM's only. i dont know why best buy can sell it. but if this card is already on retail, there's should be a review somewhere..
I checked XFX, while trying to reply to u2konline about the differences between the 5770 and the 6770, because that's best buy's model, and they list the card, but have no information about it.

6750 and 6770 are exact copies of each other everything is the same down to the chips and pcb, the only difference is the vendor and bios IDs which make it so the 6750 and 6770 you buy at the store dont work because no god damn driver exists for them, in the retail market, the cards were originally only OEM models and acer hp etc have there own drivers for the cards, that said those drivers dont work with retail models meaning 6700 series is so fail its like the 8800gts 512 > 9800GTX > 9800 GTX + > GTS 250 situation except worse because those cards still worked

It's not that much of a fail if they price it right. Like, the same price the HD 5750 and the HD 5770 are now. But yeah, what you said is what we've been discussing so far.

well its not the same price thats the thing up here at my local best buy side by side
5750 vs 6750 the 6750 is $30 more expensive for the new sticker and no drivers lol

It's the "NEW" factor. It will wear off once people learn that those two cards are rebrands.
