Here are some of the first pictures of an unreleased custom design GeForce GTX 580 graphics card by Galaxy, given out by the good folks at HardOCP. It may look like yet another GTX 580 graphics card with a beefy cooling solution, but it's a little more than that. To begin with, it has a redone display logic that gives it a total resolution of 5760 x 1080. This means that three 1920 x 1080 displays can be connected to it without needing another card. Its display outputs include three mini-HDMI and a full-size DisplayPort. Display management is backed by Galaxy's in-house EZY display setting software.

The card uses a massive heatsink to which heat is fed by a number of heat pipes, and ventilated by three 80 mm fans. The frame around these fans is made of clear acrylic, and is studded with LEDs, to give the card a groovy blue glow during operation.

They finally announce the level of nvidia card that we wanted this on more so than others. Still, I wish they release it with something better than mini-hdmi. Adapters get rather annoying, but are tolerable if they don't. And now for the price... DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!! (And keep it going for a few months or so)

I don't expect a premium of more than $50, which is not bad.

Hmm looks Nvidia is finally trying to get a slice of that "Eyefinity Pie" so to speak, and just as much of a PITA as well. Well almost a little worse with the Mini HDMI.

Who generally has 3 x 27/30" & 2560 res monitors?? even if they did if it was gaming you would need SLI anyway and if it wasn;t for gaming a 6770 or similar low end card would suffice.

This better be a stock feature in the next generation. Also, I hope that at least one of the outputs can do 2560x1600 for us PLP guys.

Very nice, especially if it can push a forth non-surround monitor like that GTX 570 posted yesterday. While it would be no problem for me to have a couple cards in SLI to run Surround, I like the simplicity of this card. Could build a cute SB ITX Triple-1080 Surround box around this card.

But mommy and daddy can lol, I'd rip that plastic crap and those fans anyways and get the big boy fans (120mmx38mm) out with some big boy zip ties lol.

Too bad Skyrim has shitty triple monitor support. ;) Galaxy is a bit late to the party since next gen is just right around the corner. Hopefully Nvidia will implement single GPU surround too and catch up with AMD on that front. Until then this might be a valid option for some though.

The multi-display ports should've been added several years ago.

too bad 15yr old kids don't seem to care about pc gaming, if they did then consoles wouldn't be in the lead. Anyways I am pretty sure easily turn off the lights just cut the right cable.
