Unbeknownst to many, MSI took a plunge into gaming PC cases with its Interceptor series Nighthawk ATX mid-tower. This case bears the "Military Class" branding that MSI uses on some of its high-end PC motherboards. Measuring 180(W) x 475(L) x 448(H) mm, the Nighthawk is one of the more spacious mid-towers. It features four 5.25-inch drive bays (all tool-free), six 3.5-inch bays (five tool-free), and black interiors with a dash of deep blue.

It has a feature-rich front-panel, including a 12-in-1 multi-format memory card reader, audio, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports. Cooling system includes a 120 mm blue LED-lit front-intake fan, a 200 mm opaque side-panel intake fan, and a 120 mm rear exhaust fan. There are provisions for two 120 mm top fans, three 120 mm side fans (replacing the 200 mm fan), and a 120 mm bottom intake. Backed by a 3 year warranty, the MSI Interceptor Nighhawk is priced at US $79.99. A full review of this case with more pictures can be read at the source.

Have to agree here... It's one thing to go the extra mile with high end components on mother boards and GFX cards but how does this apply to a case?:wtf: If it was so "Military Grade" I should be able to toss it down the stairs and it be okay?:wtf:

Someone should sue them for the inappropriate use of "military grade". What's up with all that military crap in PC hardware nowadays? They (MSI) include dogtags with the case, install a magazine-lookalike heatsink on the BigBang mottherboard, and Gigabyte even uses a heatsik that looks like one half on a pistol!? I can see a lot of 13-year-olds going "Hey look, my mainboard's got guns! Its better than yours! Hehe!"

Well, going on current political trends in the UK at least, I think our army will be having plastic tanks soon for cust cutting so yeah, it will probably be on par with military grade kit.

Never liked MSI designs in any of their products they kinda look cheap and this is no exception.

I'd say only TwinFrozr and Lightning products deserve the "military grade" tag.

MSI's military grade and The actual real military grade are two different things. A ASIP radio is made to survive a HE explosive

Amusing. I expected reactive armor, or at least Kevlar... or not.

I wouldve expected it t be able to survive a few rounds with an ak47 to be military class. Heck if they really wanted to make it at real as possible they should of. It could even have a sidewindow as well with bulletproof glass.

Is military grade the new term for generic rubbish?

Oh my... Looks like a cheap hooker. I'll be holding on to the lovely Fortress FT01 for a long time. Or at least until I'm willing to sell my soul for a TJ07.

Is military grade the new term for generic rubbish?
Short answer: Yes! Long answer: Generic rubbish that is expensive when compared to civilian-class generic rubbish.

The lighting that is causing that color, I believe. I think it's a common plastic silver-painted button. :ohwell:
