ATP Intros the Velocity SI Pro Industrial Grade SATA III 2.5-inch SLC SSD

ATP Electronics, a leading flash memory manufacturer known for its high quality, durable flash and DRAM memory modules, announced the launch of its industrial grade SLC (Single Level Cell) Solid State Drive (SSD). The ATP Velocity SI Pro 2.5" SATA III SSD is ideal for Industrial PC and high end computing devices in which extreme performance and reliability are required. With a stable performance read speed of up to 500 MB/s, a write speed of up to 500 MB/s, and 4K random read IOPS of up to 60, 000, the Velocity SSD SI pro is also the ideal solution for enterprise and industrial grade applications.

ATP Velocity SI Pro SSD is thoroughly evaluated with shock and vibration tests and utilizes an industrial grade SLC NAND flash with high endurance capabilities and high read/write IOPS. The Total Bytes Written (TBW) for the available capacities is 1,000 TB for the 30 GB capacity, 2,000 TB for 60 GB, 4,000 TB for 120 GB, and 8,000 TB for 240 GB. The new SSD incorporates industrial grade temperature capabilities with an operating range of -40°C to +85°C, and offers heightened data security with AES 128/256 encryption.

ATP Velocity SI Pro SSD comes equipped with both ATP SMART Life Monitor and Secure Erase technologies. ATP SMART Life Monitor offers flash health feed back to the host and prevents data failure by detecting the percentage of remaining life in the storage device, thus allowing time for safe storage retirement and replacement. ATP Secure Erase is designed to purge sensitive data by following protocols from NSA (National Security Agency), and DOD (Department of Defense) standards. ATP Secure Erase ensures complete systematic elimination of data. Additionally, the new ATP PowerProtector technology ensures data integrity with reliable controller and NAND flash operations during a power failure by using a back-up power circuit.
