Sanko Reduces USB 3.0 to HDMI Adapter to a Dongle

Japanese company Sanko designed a new USB 3.0 display adapter with HDMI output to the size of a dongle measuring 48 x 87 x 11 mm (WxDxH), which is extensible by a bundled 90 cm USB 3.0 cable. Further, the adapter is compatible with HDMI to DVI-I single-link dongles. The USB3TOHD adapter supports resolutions such as 1920 x 1200, 1920 x 1080, 2048 x 1152, 1600 x 900, 1280 x 720, 1280 x 1024, and others. Resolutions requiring two TMDS links (dual-link), such as 2560 x 1440, 2560 x 1600, are not supported. The manufacturer notes that up to six of these devices can be plugged to a single USB 3.0 hub (over six ports, of course), before users start to experience performance/image-quality losses. Windows XP, Vista and 7 are supported. It is priced at 9,800 JPY (US $124.3).

Completely Bonkers
Nice. Now even a laptop (with USB 3.0) and external usb 3.0 hub can drive a "wall of screens".

I'm interested once I can drive a 2560x1600 or 2kx2k screen. Get onto it Sanko!
