NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 Starts Selling

Announced last week, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 enthusiast graphics card started selling, at an MSRP of US $999 (prices vary greatly by region). A variety of add-in card (AIC) partners will launch their GTX 690 graphics cards today. The GeForce GTX 690 is a dual-GPU graphics card that packs two 28 nm GeForce Kepler 104 GPUs, arranged in an internal SLI configuration. Both these chips have all their components unlocked, including 1536 CUDA cores, and 2 GB of GDDR5 memory across a 256-bit wide memory interface. The card hence ends up with a total of 3072 CUDA cores, and 4 GB of memory. The card should be available on leading retail stores. Despite its high price, it could sell out fast.

It's about 950 euro in my crappy eastern european country, which is an awesome price compaired to a 600+ euro gtx680.

Both these chips have all their components unlocked:wtf: what so these ones do double precision correctly then? this is a new phrase i been seeing, and you need to turn it in as its BS, these chips are to 680/90 spec 1536 shaders blah blah blah, but the same chip(higher binned) in an upcomeing data center card will have alternative specs and do maths fast ,, mentioned because its missleading

and ive nothing against the spec or what they have set it at but reality is still what it is.

Price looks good to me most 680 go for $530 around here that would be $1060 for 2 so you save about $60.

Nice, the other day I took in a bad of quarters was over $90+

I would love to get one or two of these in a 800D
