theoneandonlymrkAfaik the dp is switchable via driver between full unrestricted and better for games restricted mode which drops it to 1/8 max , only on gk110s , consumer titans lack only ecc memory and pro grade drivers/support which costs all the money apparently.

Its as simple as this no ones fully sussed stacked chips and the libraries and tools are just apearing in ernest but not by nvidia or its foundry partners, others are further along and the first mass produced chip is to be a mobile arm Lp design but not by nvidia ,2016 maxwell udig I do but again imho is what it is.

Also Everyone Is focused on mobile and nvidia more than most they're very very busy I've no doubt.
