MSI Rolls Out a Pair of GeForce GTX 760 Graphics Cards

MSI joined the GeForce GTX 760 launch party with two graphics cards, one which sticks to NVIDIA-reference design, and the other being its GTX 760 Gaming Series, which features the same TwinFrozr III cooler as its GTX 770 Gaming Series. The reference design card offers clock speeds of 980 MHz core, 1033 MHz GPU Boost, and 6.00 GHz memory; while the Gaming Series card offers 1085 MHz core, 1150 MHz GPU Boost, and 6.00 GHz memory. Both cards draw power from a pair of 6-pin PCIe power connectors, display outputs include two DVI, and one each of DisplayPort and HDMI. Based on the 28 nm GK104 silicon, the GeForce GTX 760 features 1,156 CUDA cores, 96 TMUs, 32 ROPs, and a 256-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface, holding 2 GB of memory. The reference-design card is priced at US $250, while the Gaming Series card goes for a $20 premium.

Just a quick note:

*The "gamer" card is 6 pin and 8 pin power.
*The MSRP for the gamer is $259.99, not $269(+$20).
*The shader count is 1152, not 1156. :)

(not sure if that is allowed, using it as a point of reference though info straight from photos and MSI - remove if needed. :toast:)

According to TPup's review, This card ,playing Skyrim, at 1920x1080 is faster than a 780 (77.4 to 76.1), and .1fps slower than the 770.... Either a major glitch in their test or something isnt optimized correctly.

Either way, for $260 this card is an amazzzzzing deal for someone still running a 400 or 500 series card. If you are running a 600 series, I wouldnt upgrade just yet.
