EVGA is making some noise in the PSU market, the 1300G2 is about the best value for a 1300W model with 80+ Gold rating.

FWIW- Hardly anyone needs a 1200W PSU.

If you want a top shelf PSU at a reasonable price just buy a Seasonic and forget all the re-labeled crap sold by marketeers. There is no performance advantage in paying for badging. In PSUs you get what you pay for but over-paying or buying labels is for the gullible.

Always read the warranty carefully as it may not be what you think it is.

Would love to buy a plain unbranded Super FLower or Delta design by itself but they don't seem to be common.

I don't understand what you say... I hear something about Precision X and only I can say is that EVGA payed for software design and they will pay again if need no matter if they are not guilty. They not steal nothing from other brand and special not software. Usually other use innovations from them.
EVGA will upgrade their Precision X again. And this version is much better than MS Afterburner.
If someone want to miss such hardware as Classified and best world power supplies together with CORSAIR because some misunderstanding than he lose only.

Well mate, they just brutally stole the code... They deserve a boicot, you can dig around the info and evidence. If they bring products to PC enthusiast segment while stealing from well known PC enthusiast... well shooo shoo

This sunflower design is okay, but again, it ain't their, just buy directly from the OEM you like and that's it. Still would never put a supernova in my case as such only despite of the name... the PR is bonkers.

So why bother about anything? Life is a lie, kill yourself now etc. The facepalm is because the attitude that not making things on their own makes them bad. That's just stupid.

Bad day at work or what?

First question ever regarding a PSU is always the OEM maker and thus we can decide the overall goodness of the platform... the label and maker in this case that has ridiculous name has most less meaning. This how all electronics works.

In this case my my attitude towards EVGA is based purely on their statements in other departments and deserves bad words. Those reviews are good, thou, but he lately gives a lot good scores and Johhny Guru must reevaluate his score giving system. And saying wow the heck at last few PSU work as it should work by military precision standards... wow, ain't it? it is not...

But that is the conclusion to your argument. Nothing is worth celebrating because things will surpass it eventually. It's fine that you hate EVGA, but to call this platform just "OK" is stupid, and that "but it's not the OEM" complaint is also stupid. Is the Corsair AX1500i not awesome because it was built by someone else?

EVGA now have better platform than Seasonic and everybody know that and special no complains on coil whine, and we know that Seasonic suffer from that most of all manufacturer.
Nobody can't say who is better Flextronics, Super Flower, Seasonic, Enermax, Delta...
That is only possible to know if someone give them one year to build best they can in 1000W Example. But that is not possible.
Except quality and performance, price and warranty and sleeve cables are on EVGA side always compare to any other manufacturer.
Now EVGA PSU section is strong same as graphic card, if they push motherboard on such level I would be very happy.
Combination of brand who have nice vision how PSU should look and manufacturer who made only power supplies can be even better combination sometimes.
CORSAIR use Seasonic platforms and on beginning give better warranty and offer better PSU look and cables than Seasonic power supplies. Later Seasonic improve technical support and give same warranty 7 years.
Same is with EVGA and Super Flower. Even EVGA go further and offer unmatched warranty and their sleeve cables compact with wires are really good.
For Precision, Afterburner and Riva Tuner really no comment and I only know one thing,
They are not Evil company and didn't want to cheat someone and to stole something with intention to present as own.
I will wait new Precision because that will be software only for NVIDIA graphic cards with OC Scanner for their graphic cards and no need to use something else.

One more owner of NEW SuperNOVA series
My PSU arrived. I never had package faster in life.
3rd December EVGA Europe send from Germany, 4th in 16:00h UPS Serbia deliver me package.
Not only that everything is finished for 12-13 days and even my package was in Serbia 2-3 days and 4th day he was in Frankfurt Airport.
Fast, Painless, EVGA marked package as RMA and I didn't pay taxes or fee.
I got this as replacement for NEX1500, off course they offer 1600 Gold but I choose 1200 P2 because it's more efficient, enough for me and Eco Switch is welcomed for everybody with one graphic card, 750G2 and 850G2 prove that.

Now I only need to choose Sleeve cables, sometimes I even think on red but I will choose black 100%.
