Raijintek Rolls Out Morpheus Core Edition VGA Cooler

Raijintek announced the Morpheus Core Edition, a matte-black variant of its popular universal VGA cooler. Armed with a large monolithic aluminium fin stack of 129 fins, the cooler features a nickel-plated copper base, with mirror finish. Six 6 mm thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes with dark / gunmetal finish, spread heat across the fin stack. The cooler can hold on to two common 120 mm fans for ventilation. It can soak up thermal loads of up to 360W, making it fit for a variety of feisty high-end GPUs, such as the GeForce GTX 780 Ti, the Radeon R9 290X, and other GPUs based on the GK104, GM204, and "Pitcairn" silicons. Heatsinks for VRM, and 24 heatsinks for memory chips, come included. Raijintek didn't announce pricing or availability details.

maybe for lower heat it could get installed passively

This is only rated at 360W and yet gigabyte markets it's smaller Windforce coolers as 450W.

Probably being conservative, since they can't be sure what kind of cooling fans will be used. I'm pretty sure that with two of Delta's screamers (PFC1212DE-PWM) this heatsink could deal even with 500W of TDP... ;)

Looks like a MK 13, but it is nice they actually made a clip on VRM heatsink but it looks totally lame. Still wish Thermaltake would set a benchmark for vrm cooling like they did with heat pipes.

I'm not complaining about the low rating on this I'm complaining that gigabyte claims that their cooler can do 450W(it really can't) and this cooler actually has a spec that is legit and significantly lower.

Wattage rating is meaningless without temperature delta. Cooling law is Q=h*A*deltaT, so keeping surface area (A) and convection coefficient (h) constant, you can increase power rating Q by just increasing the max allowable temperature. If Raijintek rates this at 360W at, say, a 30-degree delta, it's more impressive than Gigabyte rating their 450W Windforce at for example a 70-degree delta.

I see they can't count in the video window before you press play it says 12 pcs copper heat pipes LOL really I only count 6 unless they stop end to end inside the base plate
