ELSA Announces GeForce GTX 960 SAC Graphics Card

ELSA rolled out its premium GeForce GTX 960 graphics card, the GTX 960 SAC (silent air-cooling). It combines an NVIDIA reference-design PCB, with a custom single-fan cooling solution, featuring a heat-pipe fed aluminium fin-stack, and single 80 mm fan suspended on an easy to detach cooler shroud. The company also launched the GTX 960 SAC Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zero edition, featuring a longer dual-fan cooling solution. Both cards offer clock speeds of 1127 MHz core, 1178 MHz GPU Boost, and 7.00 GHz memory.

ELSA is a quite old vendor, they used to be specialized in specially tweaked and tuned cards with their own better drivers. These days, they are the usual OEM like any other which is a shame...

I did have Elsa tnt2 vanta, some where in late 90s. So yes they are old, I'm quite surprised they are still around. Is that really the same company? I haven't seen their cards on Europe for ages.

My, so timely...not. They just now come out with a Ground Zero edition. Don't manufacturers like to time the release of these special editions to a game just being released? Ground Zero has been out for several months.

No you are not. It's year old game, but i guess it's better with something than no bundle at all.

I used to run a ELSA GLADIAC GeForce 2 GTS 32MB back around 1999 when I was addicted to EverQuest.

I didn't even realise ELSA was still around till I saw this.

That would have been when ELSA were a German company. I think the current ELSA is their Taiwanese subsidiary that took over the business when the parent company went bust.
