SilverStone Petite PT20 "Broadwell" NUC Case Picture

SilverStone's foray into the super-compact NUC enclosure market is led by its Petite series. Picture here, is the PT20, the company's enclosure for Intel Core "Broadwell" equipped NUC boards. The case may look aluminium, but is made of SECC steel. Measuring 125 mm x 50 mm x 110 mm (WxHxD), the case features a single 2.5-inch drive bay, cutouts at the right spots, including two USB 3.0 front-panel ports.

I do like the heatsink esque grooves in the older one, but I don't think the new one looks any worse. I could say the screws on the front make it look cheap, but the old one has those too. Is it the color maybe? I do like black better, but I like silver also. It is made out of steal, and not aluminum which is cheap but as stated in the op it looks like aluminum. It seems that broadwell runs so cool it doesn't need the heat sink case either. Really though, it is all subjective.

Is it just me or does it look smaller?

Yes. These are perfect for HTPCs; I have 6 in my house.
