I would jump on the offer in a blink of the eye, but honestly price is out of the this world. Why everything TB must be so bloody expensive? Of course I know very well, and that's why I keep myself far and away from anything Apple. This thing is only for people with more money than sense.

Honestly... 10k, ten thousands, USD for 80TB DAS. Ha! Haaa! 10x He8 HGST drives is roughly only 55-60% of the total cost. You could easily create DAS twice as spacious for mSAS/eSATA including top of the line brand new RAID AIC. Thing I can testify too as I hate everything NAS and using only custom made DAS solutions.

A bit like buying Ferrari for 300k USD and then on the option list selecting different color of stitching than default for additional 25k. Idiotic.
